Jaclyn A. Palumbo, Esq., is a partner in the Akron law firm of Palumbo & Sweet LLC, with a practice focused in the areas of elder law and estate planning.
Practicing since 2014, she has helped more than 500 clients navigate the complexities of the elder law and estate planning. Prior legal practice areas include divorce, small business, juvenile law, criminal law, and probate work. Because of her extensive experience in other areas of law, she is uniquely equipped to manage clients’ legal needs as they change throughout a case (which they often do).
Estate planning and Medicaid issues can be very complex and terrifying for clients. The blend of emotions, complex paperwork, and tough decisions can render families paralyzed in fear. Palumbo is passionate about helping clients navigate these legal issues.
All estate plans and Medicaid issues are unique, and Palumbo enjoys using her creativity to design plans that help families achieve their personal and financial goals. She believes no legal issues are ever too big or too small.
Attorney Palumbo currently serves on the following boards: the Greater East Ohio Area Alzheimer’s Association, the Akron Law Alumni Board, and the Board for Athena Akron. She is heavily involved in the Akron Bar Association, especially through service on the Probate Executive Committee and the Investigative Subcommittee.
