The Ohio Chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (Ohio NAELA) membership is comprised of attorneys in the private and public sectors who deal with legal issues affecting the elderly and disabled.

Issues we handle

Some of the issues Ohio NAELA members assist their clients with include, but are not limited to:  estate planning; health and personal care planning; public benefit advice and asset protection planning; estate administration, conservatorship and other probate matters; trust planning; long-term care, skilled nursing facility and housing issues; special needs trust planning and administration; and litigation and administrative advocacy.

The National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA) is the premier organization of elder law attorneys in our country, and the Ohio Chapter, with nearly 100 members, is the premier organization of elder law attorneys in our state.

For more than 30 years, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA) has been the leading professional organization for attorneys specializing in elder law and special needs planning. NAELA’s mission is to educate, inspire, serve, and provide community to attorneys with practices in elder and special needs law.
