Attorney Jonathon “JC” Elgin opened his law practice in 2017 in downtown Shelby, Ohio.
In 2018, he joined the Richland County Prosecutor’s Office, assigned to the civil division. In this prosecutor’s office, he represented Richland County’s 16 townships as well as various county offices in all variety of civil matters. He also represented the Richland County Treasurer in hundreds of tax foreclosures and as creditor in bankruptcy cases.
In 2021, Attorney Elgin returned to private practice full time, establishing the current practice in Ontario, Ohio. Since that time, we’ve helped clients in and around Richland County in probate, estate planning, tax, real estate and bankruptcy matters.
Attorney Elgin is admitted to the practice of law in the State of Ohio and the State of Florida, Federal District and Bankruptcy Courts in Ohio, and the United States Tax Court.
