Cyndy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Kenyon College and obtained her juris doctorate from Capital University.
She returned to Knox County to form the firm after nearly a decade long career in government affairs, where she worked at the federal, state and local levels. Professionally, she is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, the Ohio Women's Bar Association, and the Knox County Bar Association (Treasurer), Ohio Land Title Association, and American Land Title Association.
Cindy is also a member of the City of Mount Vernon Board of Zoning Appeals, the YMCA of Mount Vernon Board of Directors (Past President), United Way of Knox County Board of Directors, and the Heart of Ohio Estate Planning Council. Cindy graduated from the Ohio Women's Bar Foundation's Leadership Institute in the Class of 2020. Cindy is currently participating in the 2023-2024 Ohio State Bar Foundation Fellows Program.
Cindy has previously served on the Protection and Advocacy for Individuals with Mental Illness (PAIMI) Advisory Council for Disability Rights Ohio, the New Directions Board of Directors (Past President), and the Knox County Chamber of Commerce Board of Trustees.
As an elder law attorney, Jane C. Dell’s practice includes long-term care and asset protection planning, special needs and Veteran’s benefits, along with estate planning and estate administration, wills, trusts and real estate. Jane is also an accredited attorney with the Veteran’s Administration.
Over the last few years, Jane’s practice has evolved to include extensive work in helping clients protect assets when facing long-term care expenses in the nursing home or in an assisted living facility.
As asset protection and preservation issues become central to more clients, Jane’s practice has adapted to that growing need. She also practices in traditional estate planning and administration, including revocable trusts, wills and powers of attorney.
