Attorney Aric Stano founded the Law Offices of Aric J. Stano, LLC, in 2016.
Aric is a graduate of the University of Akron School of Law, where he earned magna cum laude honors. While at Akron, Aric earned the CALI Excellence for the Future award in International Law; served as an editor of the Akron Law Review; and was inducted into the Phi Delta Phi legal honors society.
Before launching The Law Offices of Aric J. Stano, Aric spent three years practicing estate planning, estate administration, business formation, and general civil litigation as a partner in an Akron firm, and two years with a solo practitioner litigating complex federal and state personal injury claims.
Aric is a Wadsworth native and graduated from Wadsworth High School in 2006. He was a member of the cross country and track teams and a state finalist in speech and debate.
When not serving his clients, Aric enjoys spending time with his family and volunteering as a canine search and rescue team leader/handler.
Stevenson Law, LLC focuses on the needs of senior citizens, the disabled, and their families. One area of focus includes elder law, which covers an extensive range of client issues related to legal, financial, and long term care needs. As our population extends its life expectancy, many individuals and families are facing issues regarding long term care, asset protection, and finances that were previously not addressed or discussed.
Randall E. Stevenson, Esq., was born and raised in Greene County, Ohio. He is a graduate of Xenia High, Wright State University, and the University of Dayton. Prior to college, Randy served as a Combat Engineer in the United States Army. Randy’s practice focuses on elder law, estate planning, probate, asset protection, and asset management. This includes Medicaid Crisis Planning, Medicaid Asset Protection, Long Term Care Planning, Probate, Guardianship, VA pension planning, Special Needs Planning, and Bankruptcy.
Maggie L. Sutton has worked with Richard Taps since 2011. She is a graduate of Indiana University Kelley School of Business with a degree in Accounting. Maggie received her law degree from Capital University in 2011, cum laude, where she was both Secretary and Treasurer of the Board of the Women’s Law Association. She is a volunteer with the Legal Aid Society, helping elderly and low-income individuals with their estate planning needs.
Prior to law school, Maggie worked in Chicago as a tax accountant for a large accounting firm. She has experience preparing business and individual tax returns for high net worth individuals.
Maggie is certified in elder law by the National Elder Law Foundation. There are only 30 attorneys in Ohio who are certified in elder law.
Maggie grew up in Worthington and lives there with her husband and children. She enjoys reading, exercising, running half marathons, and sewing. She also enjoys rooting on the Buckeyes and Colts during football season and the Hoosiers during basketball season.
Allan P. Sweet, Esq., is a partner in the law practice of Palumbo and Sweet, LLC, in Akron. He is an estate planning and elder law attorney who works to help individuals and families navigate the complexities of Medicaid planning, preparation of wills and trusts, and the administration of estates.
He helps guide clients through the maze of available public benefits to obtain necessary care while generally preserving assets for a spouse, children, family, or charities.
Sweet works with clients regardless of age in preparing key documents such as wills, powers of attorney, advance directives, and, when appropriate for their goals, trusts.
